Not always. If timber is solid and lines are straight, we can reset falls, renew seals and keep your existing boards. Where rot or wobble is present, replacement is the better call.

Will uPVC cladding trap damp in the wall?

Installed properly — on ventilated battens with appropriate membranes — it won’t. We specify the right build-up so the wall can breathe while staying weather-tight.

Can you work over a conservatory or extension?

Yes. We use purpose-made covers and safe access, and sequence the work so glass roofs and parapets are protected.

Do birds still get into the eaves with new soffits?
